Where for Art Thou, O' Ztec ?

Rumours fly, people talk, people gossip...Are they true? It is not for any of us to fan the fire of gossip. We cannot stop people from talking about ztec in a negative way, what we can do is to PROVE THEM WRONG !!!! We live in a society who thrive on pulling people down. But, Ztec is better than that! When people try to pull us down, we pull them up instead. Why? Because WE CAN !! We shall not and will not allow ourselves to be ridiculed, to be chestised, to be verbally abused or condemned, WE ARE ZTEC !!! And we are proud of it !! Let people say what they want, let people talk about us, we will give them reason to talk. They will respect us once again.

How are we to gain their respect ? Not by mere words, nor by pleading for respect. We demand respect by our actions. But all this will have to start from within. We as ZTEC players should be united once again. There may have been conflict, ups and downs, and a bump along the way, but hear us as we tell you this, things WILL change ! Let us forget and let go of what has happened in the past, let us strive to move on us a team once again, when we were a team, we are a force to be reckoned with, when we are a team, people shudder at the mention of our name....and they SHOULD !

What happened to the passion for floorball in ztec, what happened to the fun and the joy that we had while we played? What happened to the pride, the spirit, and the unity in the team ? We as ZTEC are aiming to build the foundation once again, only with a strong foundation can the mighty tower stand, and stand we will. We shall not be shattered by the mindset of individuals, instead we will harness our skills, our talents and our god given right! TO PLAY FLOORBALL !!

Politics in floorball, what is that ? Tension and disastisfaction, bring it on! We will jump over those hurdles, we will smash through the barricades of the walls that hinder us, we will triumph, we will not falter, we will never surrender nor would we give up...EVER !!!

To all ZTEC members and players, boys and girls, men and women, whoever you are we call upon you, we ask of you, we challenge you! To have a mindset, of a sportsman, stay united, stay as one, we will bring ztec back. And we will need everyones help in order to achieve that goal. Let us play with heart, let us play with determination, let us play the way ztec used to play. ONE TEAM, ONE PASSION. Let us, awake the sleeping giant once more.

Where for art thou O' ZTEC ? Here We Are !!
Say it with me, 1...2...Whooshh !!!

Phoenix wins; 8cers survive scare

Team Phoenix, captained by Jack won against Firebrands B 16-3 with John and Kok Hooi among the top scorers of the match. With the mixture of experience given by Jack and Kok Hooi and speed by players like Tash, the Phoenix team proved to be the much stronger team.

However, 8cers didnt have it easy as they fought hard against a much improved and hard working Firebrands side. 8cers took the lead through Adrian but the joy was short, as Firebrads struck twice in quick succession. Daniel Cheah equalized right before the break to save the champions blushes.

The 2nd period was quite similar to the first, with only 1 goal scored. The 3rd period saw 8cers shooting from all cylinders. The final score after 3 period was 8-3 with Jo-Wyee, Adrian and Oliver each netting 2 while Jun Wooi and Daniel got one each.

Ztec would like to thank Alex and Gary for helping us with the arrangement of the match. We would also like to wish you best of luck in the upcoming Penang League Div 2.
