Recently, Ztec has the privileged to host Nomad Floorball Club all the way from Sabah. The game was played on a Monday(20th April 2009). The Ztec Boys started to arrive from 2.15pm onwards only to realise that their opponents were already there training. Hmmm... This would surely give the Nomad's an advantage as their body were already in high gear compared to our boys who some were just after school.
Ter Min divided them into 3 lines of 4 players each before starting some light warm ups. After some snake drill and passes, the much awaited match began. Number to number, the teams looked equal with both having around the same amount of players.
It didnt take long before #9 Adrian Koay netted his first goal. Probally just 30seconds into the game. Nomad fought hard with very speedy forwards and huge tough defenders. However, Ztec who were the more experienced team overcame the pressure.
However a few shacky defending by Ztec prove costly as Nomad manage to hit in 4 goals. At the end, Ztec won the game by 24-4.
Ztec would like to thank Nomad Floorball Club for coming all the way down and we look forward to playing u guys someday. Keep up the sprit of Floorball!
